The disgusting and shameless denial of the Nigerian government through the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, about the persistent massacre of Christians in the country is not only criminally ridiculous but self-deceiving. According to him, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), is "waging war against the Nigerian State internationally". This is by every implication, a heartwarming development to Biafrans and a vindication to the IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, against the backdrop of questions regarding his dedication and commitment to the Biafra restoration struggle at the international level and the complicit of Nigeria government on the killings of Christians in Nigeria.
Recently, some group of self-acclaimed intellectuals came up with uncanny requests, seeking for audit of IPOB finances regarding the Biafran project. A sane and enlightened individual ought to know the cost implications associated with modem day freedom fighting. Such an undertaking involves wisdom, strength, resilience, uprightness, discipline and strong monetary support. In as much as the restoration struggle as ably and conscientiously championed by IPOB is concerned, the long awaited freedom is guaranteed through God, no matter the diverse evil antics of the enemies who have in no way, contributed one dime to the coffers. Positive achievements have steadily been recorded on every passing day.
One popular saying reads: "One with God is majority". It is entirely inconsequential, what the oppressors and detractors engage in against IPOB. The so-called Press Statement of the Nigerian Government on IPOB, described her as "Self-Proclaimed Jews", using Christianity to wage war against the Nigerian State at the international level. Bible reference says: "The heart of the king is in God's hand, and He turns it like water course to whichever direction He wills". The federal government of the enclave called Nigeria, clearly lacks the understanding that Biafrans are on ordained mission by Elohim Himself. Fighting the Biafra restoration is synonymous with throwing a challenge to God who graciously gave the mandate to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, to steer the ship.
The persistent gruesome massacre of Christians amongst other non-Islamic adherents by the Nigerian State-sponsored Islamic terrorists, has become so nauseating and grossly unacceptable. For years, the Nigerian government has kept mum over this act of inhumanity lending credence to the assertion that it is heavily funding and equipping the jihadi terrorist groups of the North. There exists absolutely no freedom of religion for non-Islamists in Northern Nigeria. It is therefore indisputably correct to state here that only the Muslims freely exercise the right of religious expression while others are criminally being subjugated to fear, slavery, torture and death.
Garba Shehu and the Aso Rock cabals that have held everyone hostage, are a bunch of hypocrites for shamelessly denying before the world, the steady and horrendous killing of Christians in Nigeria. This has further portrayed the level of disunity and hatred across the country that was founded on lies, deception, religious and ethic bigotry. It is accurately on record, the viral account which stated that "In 2018 alone, more than 5,000 Christians were killed in the whole world and Nigeria accounts for about 3,000.
Nigeria by herself, took the statistics of more than half of the number. In 2020, and in the sixth month, about 500 have died already. People are still going to die obviously and it will yet appear as if nothing is happening". The international community for certain, is believed to be closely watching out following the counter-report being dished out by the Nigerian government that is supposedly obligated to provide protection to the people.
In the years past, thousands of innocent Christians particularly with majority of Biafra extraction have been hacked to untimely death by the rampaging Fulani jihadi terrorists (killer herders). Apart from this spate of brutality and impunity, mothers and daughters are being raped by these Fulani vampires in their farmlands and homes, with properties worth fortunes, wantonly destroyed.
The Nigerian government yet turns a blind eye to these atrocities because of their sinister agenda to Islamize everyone. Does it then mean that Garba Shehu by every implication is truthful with his jaundiced Presidency Press Statement against the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB)"? This is a movement that has been on the frontline of resistance against all forms of injustice, oppression, deprivation and killings in the British enclave called Nigeria.
Garba Shehu claimed that IPOB is lobbying international allies with 85,000 US dollars monthly. Is this sum as claimed, anything compared to the innocent souls the Fulani controlled Nigerian government has been wasting in it's mad bid to keep Nigeria one? And in case it has been forgotten, below are few rooted reports;
* In 2019, The World Evangelical Alliance (WEA), confirmed that about 45% of "Christians killed for their faith around the world came from Nigeria. Of around 3,000 Christian deaths last year, approximately1,350 were in Nigeria".
* Again in December 2019, British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), had reported that "The Islamic State Group has released a video claiming to show the killing of 11 Christians in Nigeria".
* On 1st March 2020, several hundreds of Catholic faithfuls led by the Catholic Bishops of Nigeria stormed the streets of Abuja, Nigeria's capital city, in a peaceful protest against the "brutal killing of innocent Nigerians".
It is therefore ultimately important to use this medium, to call on the International Community, European Union, United Nations and other civilized world organizations, to urgently intervene in the reckless and persistent killing of the innocents in Nigeria. The Nigerian government should be compelled to allow the people freely decide if they want to remain in Nigeria or not.
The irrational denial of Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant to the Nigerian President on Media and Publicity, of the relentless killing of Christians by the Fulani Islamic terrorists, is but a concocted tale of desperation by the Aso Rock cabals, aimed at distracting and deceiving the world.
