Nigeria Unity Is Negotiable--Yoruba Nation Insists

The communique signed by Mogaji Gboyega Adejumo partly reads: "Today in Nigeria, the ship of state has veered  dangerously off course and heads almost irreversably towards destruction. Insecurity has reached such an abyss that hundreds of people are kidnapped in broad daylight with impunity. The Yorubas are convinced that Nigeria is on the verge of a catastrophic calamity of potentially greater magnitude than either the internecine conflict of 1967 to 1970 or the brazen disenfranchisement of 1993. The Yorubas announce their exhaustion with this government's obsession with lies and denials of truths and facts. Farmers/herders clashes are denied despite photographic evidence of massacres and eye witness reports of mayhem. Terrorists roam the land in the garb of herdsmen killing, raping, kidnapping and maiming, with little or no reaction from constituted authorities. A high ranking government official declares that bandits are not criminals".

"The forests of the Yorubas are sacred, untouchable and out-of-bounds to terrorists. May the curses of all our forefathers hold to account, all who attempt to cede even one inch of our forests to any ranch or settlement for the use of foreigners, despoilers, ruiners, ravagers and descraters of our forests. The Yorubas distance themselves from the oft-repeated untruth that 'Nigeria's unity is non-negotiable'. This is nothing but falsehood. Be it known now and ever - 'The unity of Nigeria is highly negotiable'. If we cannot be happy together, then let us find peace and joy apart. Nigeria can only remain Nigeria if all parties agree to deal equitably with each other".

The Fulanis who are feeding fat on the resources of Nigeria, dominating  every other ethnic group, have always maintained that Nigeria unity is not negotiable. This a big lie from the pit of hell. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the Indigenous People of Biafra and others, have always stated that Nigeria has expired and all the indigenous ethnic nationalities need to have a round table discussion on the way forward. Now that the Yoruba nation has realized the truth about Nigeria, it is only wise that every other ethnic group, should rise up and join hands in the agitation for the re-negotiation of Nigeria. This country has not progressively worked for more than sixty years since independence and change cannot happen from the blues.

The security of citizens is quargmirish and those at the helm of affairs are shamelessly looking the other way. Their profitable concern now is negotiating for amnesty with the Fulani Islamic bandits and terrorists. Nigeria is indeed, on the precipice due essentially to her romance with cacophonic terror enterprises. This is a country that has even surpassed Somalia in terror-related activities and is dearly reaping the dividends thereof.
