 Calling Biafran Agitation "Madness", Will Never Repress The Ideology Behind The Cause

Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State may be contending with mental suffocation in his cognitive reasoning through his undermining utterances to the cause of the Biafra restoration. This project remains the only hope of the over seventy (70) million Biafrans who have long been subjugated by poverty and slavery. As a governor of a state within the marginalized Eastern region, Umahi should have been the voice of the masses he claims to be leading. A functional democratic leadership must understand and follow the will and opinion of the people it superintends.  Deference to selfishness in other to protect a position in office and please the detrimental order of the slavemasters in Nigeria is definitely not an option.

This governor, during a media interview via Channels television, said in a quote, "The idea of Biafra agitation is Madness and they, the South Eastern governors, have said No!" He further stated that, "Igbo will lose all their investments in other parts of Nigeria, being North and West.” Recall that a few days ago, the governors of the South-East region, had a meeting and their resolution was nothing to write home about. A total travesty and an insult to the sensitivity of the masses. The arrogance of these supposedly elected officials in a supposed democracy, shows that they are not worried in anyway, about the circumstances of the people. It is not possible that they will need the people’s vote and betray them in such a manner. It is rather disgraceful that all they could parrot, is that Anambra election must hold and Ebube Agu security outfit is to be reconsidered. This showcases the talking points of the oppressive Nigerian government. The audacity to tell the people to stop the "Sit-at-home" exercise without addressing the extraordinary rendition of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, is definitely not surprising. There is no pretense or semblance of representation. The people are not disappointed.

Leadership is all about dealing with others and proactively protecting the interest of your own people. It is imperative to note here, that deals must be made from a position of strength. If the governors care about the properties of Igbos and Biafrans in general, that are located outside Biafraland, should they not be placing premium priority on the security of those they lead within the geographical territory of the Eastern region? Should they not make it abundantly clear that they will not tolerate anyone harming their people? Should the Fulani killer herdsmen, who are foreign invaders, involved in the orgy of killings and destruction of farmlands, that are making lives difficult, not be told in strong terms that enough is enough? No, this wealth grabbing and disgruntled bunch of oppressors are nothing but enemies of the people planted by the Fulani slavemasters to maintain their bloody game plans. 

The South-East governors were so quick to proscribe the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and tagged them terrorists even though the organization has never in anyway, been involved in violent agitation. But rather, in peaceful demonstrations in line with the United Nations Charter on Self-determination. South-East governors ordered the police and her sister security agencies, including the army, to open fire on the innocent and peaceful protesters. This led to the killing of thousands of IPOB members. Many innocent youths were arrested and randomly detained. Severe punishments are being meted on them in various prisons and cells across the British contraption called Nigeria. There is no hope in sight for thousands still languishing in jail for committing no crime against any known law.

It is rather unfortunate that no Southern governor has come out to comment on the damning report given by David Hundeyin. That they would rather run their mouth on the Biafra question and insult the memory of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu and millions of other heroes, that tells you all you needed to know about who these politicians are loyal to and what their priorities are. Anyone in his/her right senses will not call a cause in which over fifty (50) million people place their belief, "Madness.” This goes to show how disconnected they really are to the feelings of the people. Knowing that they cannot subdue or obliterate the ideology, they yet continue to try to fan the embers of anarchy and this is very troubling. It gives Biafrans a more convincing reason to avoid them as internal enemies and saboteurs.

Let all therefore, be reminded that these South-East governors and their fellow evil political leaders in Biafraland, will never escape the weight of the wrath that will befall them in due time. The masses are seriously in pain. The blood of the innocent will never rest until justice prevails through the granting of Biafra Freedom.
