The Falling to Death of a Christian Soldier from Nigerian Military Truck Maybe an Act of Terrorism

The report reaching us has it that a Nigerian Army officer, whose name was identified as Private Ronald Wilson on Monday, died from injuries sustained after he allegedly fell off a moving truck in Kaduna State.

The report went on to allege that Wilson fell off a military van conveying him and other soldiers to the Forward Operating Base in Kuyello, Kaduna State. Was said to have hit his head on the road and was rushed to a hospital where he was confirmed dead.

According to a confirmation by military signal, intercepted from a source with knowledge of the incident, but who asked to remain anonymous, the signal read: “TEXT of Operation Dominion Storm: Incident report; SITREP AS AT 221845HRS, AUG 22 (.) AT ABOUT 221605HRS, CMM Troops OF FOB KUYELLO WHILE Returning to Base from Patrol had AN UNFORTUNATE INCIDENT OF A SLDR FALLING OFF FROM A moving gun truck 21NA/80/3984 PTE RONALD WILSON A SLDR FROM 4 DEMO BN ATT TO 2 BN FOR OP DOMINION STORM FELL FROM THE MOV GT CMM HIT HIS HEAD ON THE MAIN RD AND SUSTAINED INJURIES TO THE HEAD (.)

“THE SLDR WAS immediately evacuated to the PRI HEALTHCARE CEN KUYELLO WHERE EFFORTS WERE MADE TO ARREST BLEEDING FROM HIS HEAD (.) THE SLDR WAS LATER confirmed dead due to EXCESSIVE BLEEDING FROM THE INJURY (.) REMAINS OF THE SLDR IS BEING EVACUATED TO 44 NARHK FOR NECESSARY ACTION (.) Please acknowledge.”

This incident is truly unheard of and unparalleled, indicative of the ill prepared and poorly equipped nature of the Nigerian military. It also raises suspicion of internal sabotage and an act of terrorism.

It is already known that the Nigerian military is divided along religious line, especially. Recall that the former Chief of the Air Staff, Alex Badeh, was traced and killed in what was made to look like a robbery. Tolulope Arotile, Nigeria’s first-ever female combat helicopter pilot, was killed in a barrack in a murder made to look like a terrible accident. The list are many. Remember the several ambush of Christian soldiers fighting insurgency. With the above explanations in mind, some important questions are inevitable. Like, what was the religious make up of his team? Who is the driver and did he intentionally drive reckless knowing that it would unfairly affect him? Was he pushed by someone close to him? These and many other questions are necessary to get to the bottom of the incident.
