Nnamdi Kanu: Soludo's Plea And The Guise To Convict An Innocent Man

The Plea by the Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo asking the Nigeria Government to release the presently incarcerated Leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra(IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to him (Soludo) under surety, can be welcomed and taken as a call done out of love for Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

However, this call cannot be entertained as it erodes the court order for Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to be freed unconditionally, similar order also came from the UN working group on arbitrary arrests, adding that Nnamdi Kanu must be fully compensated for the abuse on his Human rights.

While it seems like Soludo's Plea was done out of love, one cannot just overlook the possibility of his(Soludo) call being a guise to stop Mazi Nnamdi Kanu from getting unconditionally released. It is something the Leaders of the Old Eastern Region of Nigeria(Biafraland) are good at; always making a way for the evil plans of the Nigeria Government to work.

A man who has been discharged and acquitted of all the crimes alleged on him by the court, does not need a surety or bail. What he needs is an unconditional release.

Nigeria Government is running out of cards to play to continue keeping Mazi Nnamdi Kanu under torture in the DSS dungeon, as the 6 months deadline the UN working group gave for the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu unconditionally has already expired.

This is the only explanation one can think of because it is perplexing why the Attorney General of Nigeria Abubakar Malami will suddenly be interested in a court process, asking Soludo to go through the court for Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to be released to him (Soludo) under surety, when the same Attorney General Malami has refused to obey the appeal court order for Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to be freed unconditionally, since October 13th 2022.

While the world waits to see what actionable steps the UN working group is ready to take to ensure her orders for the unconditional release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is implemented, we also wish to add our voice in calling for more international bodies to help stop this tyrannical rule of the Muhammadu Buhari's led Nigeria Government, and call for the freedom of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
