IPOB's Unbreakable Chain of Command: Why Only DOS Speaks in the Absence of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu
In the absence of our leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, any directive, announcement, or order that does not emanate directly from the Directorate of State (DOS) shall always been seen as social media noise, transient chatter that will eventually fade away, just like the much-hyped "100 men" noise before it.
Whatever private interactions, issues or discussions Mazi Nnamdi Kanu may be having with the DOS remain strictly their business to settle. As loyal IPOB members, we do not pry into those details, nor do we need to. What truly concerns us is the policy of IPOB, the constitution of IPOB, and the regimented channel of communication that our was established to safeguard the movement.
This is not a matter of emotion or personal interpretation, it is a matter of law, structure, and discipline.
In the absence of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, no other entity or individual has the authority to communicate official orders or directives to IPOB members except through the DOS. This is not a suggestion, it is the law of the movement, and even Mazi Nnamdi Kanu himself has repeatedly emphasized this principle. The DOS was deliberately created as the highest administrative and coordinating body to ensure continuity, coordination, and unity, especially during challenging times when the leader is physically constrained.
As disciplined IPOB members, we do not take orders from outside IPOB channel of communication. It does not matter if someone claims to have met Mazi Nnamdi Kanu a thousand times or claims to carry a personal message from him. If that message or order does not come through the right IPOB channel of communication the DOS, nwanne consider is noise. Pure and simple.
This stance is not disobedience. On the contrary, it is the highest form of obedience, loyalty, and discipline both to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the DOS and to the Biafra struggle. It is what protects the movement from infiltration, division, sabotage, and the whims of opportunists. By adhering strictly to the established structure, we ensure that IPOB remains focused, coordinated, and unbreakable. That is precisely why it would take another 110 years or more for anyone to successfully shake the foundation of IPOB and the DOS.
The strength of this movement lies not in any single individual, but in the institutional framework our leader wisely put in place. The DOS is not a replacement for Mazi Nnamdi Kanu; it is the vehicle through which his vision and directives flow when he cannot speak directly. Undermining this structure, whether intentionally or through well-meaning but misguided actions, only plays into the hands of those who wish to see the Biafra restoration project crumble from within.
The only meaningful way to resolve the current tensions and strengthen the struggle is for our leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, and the DOS to make peace and work in harmony. Unity at the top translates to unbreakable resolve at the grassroots. That is what everyone should be preaching. When the head and the coordinating body align fully, the entire family of IPOB moves as one disciplined, focused, and unstoppable.
To all genuine Biafrans and IPOB members: Let us remain vigilant. Ignore the noise. Stick to the constitution. Honor the channel of our communication. Support the DOS as the legitimate administrative arm in the leader's absence. This is how we honor Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s vision. This is how we ensure the struggle endures and ultimately triumphs.
We always pray that our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu never sees this as disobedience but as obedient to the struggle we all has sworn to protect.
