Radio Biafra Resumes FM Broadcasts in Parts of Delta State
ASABA, Nigeria — Radio Biafra has resumed terrestrial FM transmissions covering Asaba, Ugbolu, Okpanam, Agbor and surrounding areas, according to an announcement made by IPOB on 23 September 2026.
The station is broadcasting on 102.1 FM. Listeners in the affected localities are being urged to tune in and inform others.
The announcement described the coverage as encompassing “all of Asaba, Ugbolu, Okpanam, Agbor and surrounding environs”
Radio Biafra, historically linked to the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) movement, has previously operated primarily through online streams and shortwave. Local FM transmissions in Delta State would mark an expansion of its terrestrial reach into the Anioma area.
Residents in the coverage area can attempt to receive the station on 102.1 FM. Further updates on the status of the transmissions may follow from the broadcaster or regulatory bodies.
