BREAKING: Court Denies Nnamdi Kanu Bail, Says The Court Was Not Informed On Why The IPOB Leader Left Nigeria

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafr (IPOB) has been denied bail by the Justice Binta Nyako's court. The court claims they were not formally informed on the reason for Kanu's sudden disappearance from Nigeria.

Recall that Kanu had accused the Nigerian military of murderously invading his home in 2017, ahead of his date for court appearance. According to his lawyer, Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor, the invasion led to the loss of over 28 lives amongst Kanu's supporters. It is from this death scene that Kanu narrowly escaped. Only to be abducted again last year 2021 in Kenya, by the Nigeria forces, and extraordinarily renditioned back to Nigeria.

Nnamdi Kanu have insisted that he escaped to save his life from military onslaught. He further argued that the Nigeria government kidnapped and tortured him in Kenya, illegally renditioned him to Nigeria. Therefore, appealed to the court to grant him an unconditional release.

Unfortunately today, the Judge, Binta Nyako refused to grand Kanu's appeal, she said her court was not adequately informed why Kanu had to absent from court for four(4) years.

Stay tuned!
