BREAKING: Nnamdi Kanu’s Court Ruling Adjourned To October As Judge Embarks On Periodic Vacation
The "No Case Submission" of the incarcerated leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) movement, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu which was slated today, 18th July 2025 for ruling has been adjourned by the presiding judge till October 10th 2025.
Recall that on June 19th 2025 after serial presentation of witnesses by the federal government before court, the defense initiated a no case submission application, arguing that the renewed trial of the IPOB leader was unsubstantial and should be discontinued, the judge upended the ruling for case for July 18th.
However, following today's proceedings, the presiding judge,,Justice Omotosho was reported to be embarking on a routine annual vacation and as such, the case was adjourned till October 10th 2025.
According to media briefings from Barr Aloy Ejimakor, a member of the defendant's legal team, the results of no case submission would determine if the trial of the IPOB leader would continue or be discontinued and the IPOB leader discharged.
