IPOB Enugwu State Media Throws Full Support Behind Directorate of State

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Enugwu State Media Department has declared its unequivocal support for the Directorate of State (DOS), led by Mazi Chikadibia Edoziem, as the movement pushes ahead with its institutionalization agenda.

In a strongly worded press statement released on Monday, the Enugwu State Media affirmed that no enduring movement can survive as a “one-man enterprise.” It emphasized the need for strong institutions, collective leadership, discipline, and continuity to safeguard the Biafran struggle.

The statement read in part:

“Strong institutions, collective leadership, discipline, and continuity are the foundations upon which lasting institutions are built. This is the path to preserving the vision, strengthening the structure, and securing the future of the Biafran People.”

The Enugwu State Media described the institutionalization agenda as a deliberate effort to ensure IPOB remains guided by its core principles, governed by established structures, and sustained beyond any individual. It further highlighted the importance of unity, accountability, and organizational maturity.

The department called on all committed IPOB members across the state and beyond to fully embrace the collective vision, describing it as critical to building a stronger, more organized, and more resilient movement.

“We are standing strongly united in purpose, in structure, and focused on the future of the Biafran people,” the statement concluded.

The position of the Enugwu State Media comes amid ongoing discussions within IPOB circles regarding the role and relevance of the Directorate of State. By throwing its weight behind Mazi Chikadibia Edoziem-led DOS, the media outfit has signaled a clear preference for structured leadership over individualized control.

Signed:

IPOB Enugwu State Media Department.
