EXPOSED! POLICE & CHURCH HONORS FOR ALLEGED KIDNAP KINGPIN NOW IN RUBBLE
A Biafran activist has sparked widespread debate on social media by sharing a video that contrasts the community honors received by High Chief Stanley "Morocco" Oparaugo with the demolition of his properties, which authorities allege were used in a kidnapping and organ harvesting operation.
Chinasa Nworu, an IPOB member and member of Directorate of State DOS of the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB posted the 87-second clip on December 13, garnering over thousands of views, likes, and reposts within 24 hours. In the accompanying caption, Nworu accuses Oparaugo of being "the man behind uncountable kidnapping and organ harvest in Imo state," claiming his Jessy Best Hotel served as a site for ransom collections and killings, while the adjoining Ugwudi Cottage Hospital mortuary was used for organ extraction
The video, sourced from TikTok user, begins with footage of dozens of framed awards and certificates scattered on the dirt ground, seemingly discarded during a raid. Close-ups reveal plaques from various institutions, including:
Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) certificates praising Oparaugo's "service to humanity" in Ngor Okpala Division.
Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) "Award of Honour" for community service.
Thorsberg Marine Patrol State Chapter "Certificate of Recognition and Excellence."
Other recognitions from community unions, cult-like groups, and local organizations, often featuring Oparaugo in traditional attire like a red cap and white shirt.
The footage then transitions to demolition scenes, showing a yellow Caterpillar bulldozer razing buildings at the site along the Owerri-Aba Expressway. Uniformed police officers, including one named C.E. Nwafor, and camouflage-clad security personnel oversee the operation, with debris piling up amid onlookers.
Nworu argues these honors were bestowed despite Oparaugo's alleged crimes, which she says were falsely attributed to the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and its Eastern Security Network (ESN) for four years by Nigerian media and authorities.
She blames Governor Hope Uzodimma's administration for enabling such networks and tags entities like Police, @Amnesty International calling for accountability. This post builds on IPOB's broader campaign, including a "wanted" declaration for Oparaugo shared on social media
The scandal erupted after Imo State Police raided the facilities on December 6, discovering over 100 decomposed and mutilated bodies in unhygienic conditions.
Oparaugo was declared wanted that day for failing to appear for questioning, with Police Commissioner Aboki Danjuma vowing to apprehend him and accomplices. The state government sealed the sites and ordered their demolition, citing public health risks and criminal activity.
International media, including Fox News, has covered the case as a "secret organ-harvesting ring" uncovered after weeks of surveillance, noting the bodies showed signs of mutilation consistent with organ removal. Local reports from Punch and The Guardian confirm the raid's findings and the government's response.
Pro-IPOB users on social media are demanding for open trials to expose alleged political collaborators,
